After Robert's death his son Hamo may have had the Chatham barony but by 1290 it had been given to Guy Ferre.
Moor in his ‘Kts of Ed I’ says he died on 8 Aug 1316. with his nephew Robert son of John de Crevequer as his heir. His wife in 1306 was Isolde.
