In Sanders Baronies, p. 51, he is reported to have m. a dau. of a Robert Beacuhamp III who d. 1195 and thus obtained this barony. Keats-Rohan, DD 313, also has a Robert Beauchamp III, son of Robert B. II, who had an unnamed dau. who m. Simon de Vautort. So this connection is now (Mar 2004) inserted.
