Notes for Maria Corbet
There is some confusion about her in the Shorpshire Visitation of 1623:
On p. 136, she is clearly shown as the wife of Thomas Thorne and the daughter of Rogert Corbet and Elizabeth Hopton.
On p. 458, she is shown as "Maria (or Isabel) fil. Rogeri Corbet de Moreton in co. Salop mil." but then shown with, in italics, parents of "Sr Robert Corbett of Morton and Ciclie dau to Sr Henry Vernon kt". The latter italicised information has to be rubbish!
