Notes for Thomasine Gresley
The Lincoln Pedigrees, Vol I, p. 39, shows a Thomasine Gresley, dau of Sir John, who m. Sir Hugh Wriothesley and had a dau. Isabel who m. Sir William Armine before 1437. Any connection?
TFPL, Nov 2007: I think this connection looks likely: Hugh Wrottesley died in 1464, Thomasine surviving until 1480; she could well have re-married. Further the main line of Gresleys of this period only has one John Gresley.
Currently there are two Thomasines and two John Gresleys on file. If the previous paragraph is right, they need to converge into one of each.

In Madan’s “The Gresleys of Drakelowe” he reports, pedigree p. 226, that she m. John Darrell and they had issue. Hmmm...
