Notes for Sir John Pakington
1569 Worcs vis': m. Ann, dau. of Henry Dacre, Alderman of London, ob (dau? or her father?) 22 Aug 1563 and buried St Bothels w/out Aldersgate, London. His parents were John P. and Eliz., dau of Thos Washbourne.
Lipscomb says he m. “Anne ... dau. of Rolle, relict of Tychbourne, who d. 22 Aug 1563 and was buried in St Botolph Aldeergate. Sounds like we have a fix on Anne and her death date but not on her parents!
Apparently on 5th April 1532 he had a grant (pace the later de Courcys) to wear his hat in the presence of the king. (Lipscomb vol II, p. 14)
