TFPL, 2010: Her ancestry is only to be found in Janet Meisel’s “Barons of the Welsh Frontier” pub 1980 and shows Emma Pantulf to be the daughter of Hugh (d. 1224) and Christiana Fitz Alan.  Hugh Pantulf is shown as the son of Ivo (d. c.1175).  Ivo is shown as the son of Robert (d. 1130, who is shown as the son of William I Pantulf (d.c.1112).  Emma is also shown by JM as the sister of the William Pantulf (d. 1233) who m. Hawise FitzWarin.  No evidence has been found for any of this as yet.
