Wallop, p. 485, shows four generations before him.
May 2006: I have now included these four generations in order to link up with the Cahaignes family of Horsted Keynes. L F Salzman in his articel on the Cahagnes says thatt the marriage of Roger Lewkenor to Joan Keynes started several generations of marriages of heiresses by the Lewkenors, instancing a few for which I already have evidence. So I reckon this line has some plausibility but I will endeavour to see if there is any more information to be found on these early Lewkenors: the Sussex Archaeology Collections sound a good place to start.
