Deathca 1121
GeneralA norman. His lands later became the 'barony of Cause'. In Domesday.
Notes for Roger Corbet
DP: Father of Robert, who apparently succeeded him, and Everard and Simon.
A E Corbet says he was also father of William of Wattlesborough who inherited Caus and of Roger who m. an heiress of Tasley. She also says that his son Robert was the “founder of the Scotch branch”.
While is it undoubtedly true that the barony of Caus descended from this Roger, the precise line may not be right; however I have followed A E Corbet until something better turns up.
