Notes for Isabella Brocas
In the Hants 1686 vis'n she is said to be the dau. of Bernard Brocas, the son of Sir John. This adds that the Elmes of Lilford, Northants were descended from her.
Louise Staley has reported that according to a TAG article she is in fact Julianne Grey, dau of the 2nd baron Grey of Rotherfield. Robert Joseph Curfman,"The Yale Descent from Braiose and Clare through Pigott of Buckinghamshire", TAG 56:1-11, 101-?) To be followed up, though I dunno where TAG back numbers are - SOG? Yes it is in SOG.
