In the 1939 Register she is transcribed as ‘Farth’ and, regrettably, the enumerator’s handwriting looks like that:

Her death cannot be found on FindMyPast under Faith Powys. Did she remarry? No marriage of any Faith Powys from 1936 to 1985. Abroad? However there is a marriage of Faith Oliver to Charles J Lowson in Q1 of 1948; the certificate would give an age which might help to determine if it was her or not. More believably, this person seems to have died as Faith Lowson in Dec 1990, being born on 11 Mar 1920.
In fact her death appears in the index with the same birth date as in 1939:
