His brother John succeeded to the barony.
Several generations before him are given in CP, but no intermarriages with anyone else that I know of.
Feb 2004: Found the wife of the first of CP's Meinills in K-R's DD, so this Robert de Meinil is in the database.

Rosie Bevan in her article “Keeping it in The Family” in Foundations pub by FMG as Vol 5 in May 2013 states that the Meinils had Lacy ancestry which caused problems with the permitted relationsips.
