In Keats-Rohan’s DD, p. 1002, she writes that Gaufrid Haget was the son of Bertram I and brother of Bertram II and had children:

This confirms all the details from Clay who does not givae a name wife of Alan fitz Brian but says she was the sister of Geoffrey Haget and does not directly assert the name of her father. In CP, table, vol V, p. 397, her father is identified as Bertram. Clay reports on Bertram as her father but only as a report from Dugdale (Baronage i, 53) and in a note ,YAJ, xxx, 283, note (3), referring to a Cotton Manuscript, Vesp. A iv, f, 1.
K-R quotes one a charter from EYC (295) but it does not deal with this. She also refers to Greenway “Charters of the Honour of Mowbray”, 1972, Nos 157-8 and to Pipe Roll 12 Henry II, 42-y. However EYC charter 295 explicitly starts by saying “Brien filius Scollandi ...” and continues later with “Alanus, Henricus et Michael filii mei”.
