His father was William de Brewes who d. in 1290. Piers succeeded his elder brother Richard who d. in 1295.
In May 2004, Paul Mackenzie and Rosie Bevan had a magnificnet exchange on the progeny of this Peter de Brewes under he tiels "BREWES - NOYHILL - COKESEY Connection"
Rosie thought that he and Agnes also had a son Piers who had a wife Joan. Might this be the Joan de Percy that was dau of Joan Foliot and Nicholas de Percy and who m. a Piers de Brewes? See CP VIII pp. 580-1 in note (c) on p. 581.
