She was probably related on her mother's side to Sir John Fastolf for whom John Paston was executor and main beneficiary.

She and John are said to have also had a daughter Anne who m. a Sir Wm Yelverton and whose dau. Margaret m. a John Palgrave.  On second thoughts the Margaret Yelverton who m. John Palgrave was not a descendant of Margaret Mautby.
