The Essex visitations gives him six prior generations and a connection with The Conqueror. But the account of the Munchesny family, which which they connect this Thomas, is very defective compared to that in CP. So, apart from Thomas himself, I've left it all out.
April 2003: Following various leads to Keats-Rohan's Domesday books and a study of CP's Munchesny article, I've put him and his ancestors in.
