Feudal baron of Shelford, Notts.
EYC XI, p. 111 reports that a daughter, Margery, of Adam de Everingham married Robert III de Percy (1245-1321) of Bolton. Margery had Stainborough as a maritagium which went to Robert and Margery’s younger son Edmund for his lifetime, in 1309-10. These dates make it look likely that it was this Adam that was the father of Margery.
