I have a note ‘In 1902: Lieut, RA.’ but the 1902 date is rubbish, though he might well have been in the RA later on. Subsequently: The note was from Armorial Families, 7th edition, vol 1, p. 942.
There are loads of marriages that could be his, too many to be of value to list.
However in 2009 his grandson Robin Humfry Hill contacted me and provided the needed details. Marvellous.
