Notes for Rev Thomas Smyth Hill
Author of the Hill pedigree entry to Miscellania Genealogica et Heraldica of 1892.
In the 1881 census he was at the Rectory, Thorington, Suffolk, on his own and as Rector aged 57, born in Hilford Somerset.
In 1901 he remained on his own, almost certainly still the incumbent of St Peter’s, Thorington as he was described as a C of E Clergyman and lived at ‘St Peter’s rectory’ in that village.
In the 1881 census he was at the Rectory, Thorington, Suffolk, on his own and as Rector aged 57, born in Hilford Somerset.
