His seal was attached to the Declaration of Abroath and was On a bend three buckles, tinctures unknown. Nor do we know the tinctures used by his son or grandson, though his gt-grand-daughter Margaret m. another Leslie who then bore Argent on a fess azure three buckles Or. The line of Andrew’s younger brother Wlter ended up with the arms Azure, on a bend Argent, three buckles Gules. If asked to choose some tinctures for Andrew, I would go for Argent, on a bend Azure, three buckles Or.
