He is a descendant of Guy Spiney of Coughton; the latter had two co-heirs, Alice who m. Wm Tracy and Eleanor who m. a John Throckmorton.  It will be interesting to see if this John Tracy’s wife was descended from the Throckmortons who inherited Coughton. thus making them both descended from Guy Spiney.
