Is he descended from Manasser Aguillon, from whom another Robert is descended, acording to Paget's baronage?  (DD, 133 is on Manasser and refers to "The family of Aiguillon" by L F Salzman in Sussex Arch Coll, 79 (1938), pp. 45-60.)
