Notes for Sir William de Hastings
Aug 2006, TFPL: John Ravilous in Jan 2003 produced evidence that hsi wife was Margaret le Bigod, dau. of Roger, earl of Norfolk. While I think the evidence is good that margaret m. a William Hastings, I am not convinced that it was this William, so I have now disconnected her from William. There were several William de hastins around at that time and not all were of the same family.
