Notes for Rev Henry Hamilton
A Henry Hamilton d. aged 79 in Q3 of 1874 in Greenwich, vol 1d, p. 484, but I would expect that our man d. in Ireland.
In the Irish death indices, there are 9 Henry Hamiltons who died between 1873 and 1875. None agree with his full name and the quarter of his reported death and his reported ago of 79.
In fact the UK Probate Index resolves his death to have been the Greenwich registered on after all.

The Will of the Reverend Henry Hamilton late of 17 Devonshire-place in the Parish of St Marylebone in the County of Middlesex who died 10 September 1874 at Blackheath in the County of Kent was proved at the Principal Registry by Frances margaret Hamilton of 17 Devonshire-place Widow the Relict the Reverend Thomas Peters of Eastington in the County of Gloucestershire Clerk and Henry Blackburne Hamilton of 17 Devonshire-place a Captain in the 6th Regiment of Dragoon Guards the Son three of the Executors.
Burka gives the death date at 16th Sept 1874 but the above gives the 10th so I have changed it to the 10th.
