Notes for Sir John Goodwine
Smyth in his Lives of the Berkeleys has John Goodwin's wife to be Elizabeth Throckmorton, 1st dau of Miriell Berkeley and Robert Throckmorton. Miriell was 1st dau. of Thomas V lord Berkeley. Smith shows that Elizabeth was the mother of Francis.
And the 1634 Bucks visitation has Anne Spencer as his wife.
Lipscomb shows him married separately to both these two but has Anne as the mother of Fracnis.
So I've given him both wives but given Francis to Elizabeth as Smyth was at least a contemporary of John Goodwyn!
