Will notes for John Hallifax
His will is dated 7 Nov 1806, and proved on 14 May 1807 and lists:
Thomas Hallifax, his nephew,
Saville Hallifax, his nephew,
Sir Thomas Hallifax, his late brother and father of nephew Thomas,
George Hallifax of Doncaster, Yorks, his brother,
Thomas Rich (?) of London, his relation.
(It is odd that there is no mention of his co-armiger, Robert the Physician. I am getting less and less inclined to believe that they were realated.)

Arms Generally notes for John Hallifax
Mar 2006: This, from Peter O’Donoghue, Bluemantle Pursuivant, almost certainly refers to this John Hallifax:
“A Grant of Arms to John Hallifax of Kenilworth, co. Warwick, eldest surviving son of John Hallifax and grandson of Thomas Hallifax both of Springthorpe, co. Lincoln deceased, by Letters Patent dated 11 December 1788. The limitations of the grant were extended to include the descendants of his grandfather, and of his late cousin Robert Hallifax of Mansfield, co. Nottingham deceased. [Coll Arm Ms Grants 17/49]”
Only one question, when did he die? (From his will, ca Apr 1807)
A transcript of this is being prepared.
