Lipscomb in his “Bucks”, Vol IV, p. 481, has this headmaster of Eton:
“Stephen Sleech, 4 June 1748. He was elected Fellow in 1729, and appointed Chaplain to the King in 1733. He died at Worplesdon, in Surrey, of which place he was Rector, 8 Oct 1765.”
