Douglas Richardson says that his forthcoming 3rd Edition of Plantagenet Ancestry will include proof that Ida WAS dau of Wm Longspee. Ho Hum, in view of CP Vol XIV.

August 2004: Now tha the book is here, I can see no evidence at all that Ida was Wm Longspee's dau.
