Notes for Anne Percy
CP says she was dau of Henry Percy & Eleanor Poynings.
DNB says she was daughter of the parents, Henry Percy & Eleanor Neville.
CP's argument in Hungerford article, Vol VI, p. 621, note (e) wins the day for me.
March 2002: Chris Phillips has looked at the documents referred to by CP and concluded she was the dau. of the second earl, who also married an Eleanor.
Late March 2002: Douglas Richardson has produced a marriage dispensation which he says can only be interpreted by Anne Percy being the daughter of Henry Percy and Eleanor Neville.
I'll let the dust settle on this for a while before making any change...
