But the Glos Visitation for 1623, pub 1885, page 233, ed by J Maclean, has an entry for:
"Isabell 2 d. of Sr Piers Grantsonn, Knight sonn of Wm and Sibell Tregoz"
So was he dsp?

Nov 2006: It may be that he was not buried at Much marcle and that only his wife was; the manor there had been a Mortimer possession that was granted to her for her lifetime and to revert to the Mortimers, presumably if she had not children. There is a Grandison tomb in Hereford cathedral which is thought to be that of Piers.
