From Hants VCH, vol V, Osborne was owned by John Mann who d. in 1705; his sole daughter and heir Elizabeth married Robert Blachford of Sandhill, Hants. I wonder if Robert and Elizabeth were the parents (unlikely) or grandparents (more likely) of this Robert Pope Blachford?
Mark Lewis, a descendant of this couple, tells me that they also had 3 daughters and a younger son:
