Notes for Erasmus Smith
m. (1) N. N. Baiard, widow of a Wye, (2) Margaret Cecil, widow of Roger Cave and sister to Wm lord Burleigh.
TFPL: April 2007: Both the Leics and Northants 1618 vis’ns give him the same wives and make the sons of the first wife. Further neither mentions any daughters, let alone Lucy. But I am going to assume that Lucy’s mother was the unknown Baiard.
Further both vis’ns only give Erasmus’ father, neither go any further back.
