TFPL, Jul 2011: His son, J R T, in his family history gave the impression that his father spent years lecturing at Sandhurst. However the Sanhdurst staff records <
http://archive.sandhurstcollection.org.uk/view/8635/127135/> explicitly say he started in 1851 and left in 1858. So what did he do and where did he live for the rest of his life?

1851: Lodging with a plumber’s family in York Tonw Frimle, born in Kenington Surrey, aged 25, a Mathematical Professor.

In 1871 He was married with 2 daughters in the house, born in Kennington, Surrey and a ‘Professor of Mathematics in Staff College. Clergyman without cure of souls’, living at Cambridge Town, Frimley.
Not in 1881, 1891, 1901 censuses.
In 1911 was a Retired Civil Servant living at Bradbourne, Larkfield, Maidstone, a widower and with his son and two daughters, all of whom were born in Wakefield, Yorks.
