In the 1881 census she was 76, a canon’s wife, born in Whitchurch, Dorset and living with her husband Edward Hawkins aged 80, born in Minsterworth, Glos, vicar of St Woolos and canon of Llandaff. They had two servants with them in the house. They were all living at The Canonry, Llandaff, Glams.
