Apparently he had issue and either he or his father was passed over for succession to the Ferrand estates.
No birth record on FreeBMD for any forename remotely like Currer. Nor for anyone with the fornames only of ‘Currer f’. (Just to show that the search engine works, there is a Currer Benjamin Rawson born in Bradford Y in Q4 of 1849.)
