Notes for Capt Currer Fothergill Busfeild
Apparently he had issue and either he or his father was passed over for succession to the Ferrand estates.

No birth record on FreeBMD for any forename remotely like Currer.  Nor for anyone with the fornames only of ‘Currer f’.  (Just to show that the search engine works, there is a Currer Benjamin Rawson born in Bradford Y in Q4 of 1849.)

In 1861 census he was staying with a carpet manufacturer in Wildborough, Cheshire and was a Lieut in the 16th Regiment of Foot. He was born in Manchester, Lancishere [sic].

Malise  McGuire née Wood, for whom thanks for his marriage certificate, has found a probable entry for his death in Poole in Q3 of 1915:

Poole looks more likely now that I have also found Milborough’s death registered in Dorchester, Dorset.
