Notes for William Holbech
There were other children - Burke.
Burke also has ancestors of this William Holbech, recorded as follows (not sure of the veracity...):
"The family was originally of Holbech in the county of Lincoln, whence sprang:
"Sir Laurence Holbech (lineally descended from Oliver Holbeck, of Holbeck, living about the year 1223) who was the father of:
"Richard Holbeck who had two sons:
"William, slain at Towton, and:
"Thomas Holbeck, of Fillonlgley, in the county of Warwick, who d. in 1528. He was grandfather of: [William Holbech]."

TFPL, Oct 2003: The Warks 1682-3 v The Vis'n shows only his father, Thomas Holbech of Filongley, Warks. This vis'n shows he and Eliz to have had 5 sons and 2 daus.

TFPL, 2010: The 1592 Lincs visitation shows a few generation of the earlier Holbech (or, as they are called there, Holbeach) family and shows either this William or his father.
