TFPL, Jul 2011: His records have been found for his year at Sandhurst.
He joined in Sept 1888 and finished in July 1889 and was commissioned into the Oxford Light Infantry on 29.9.1889. In Sep 1888 his age was recorded as 18 years and two months, making him born around July 1870, and he was 5 ft 7.5ins tall. He seemed to have had good grades and his conduct was Very Good.
Family Search has a records that he was buried on the 12 Dec 1897 at Nowshera, Bengal, India.
