Notes for Rev William Marsh
He was a widower at time of his marriage to Louisa.

The Northants VCH genealogy volume in the Powys chapter, p. 262 says of him:

“vii D. Louisa Horatia Powys was married at Clifton 3 March 1848, as his third wife, to William Marsh, D.D.  He was born 20 July 1775, the third son of Colonel Sir Charles Marsh of Reading, and was christened 7 Sept 1775 at St Laurence’s, Reading.  B.A. Oxford (St Edmund Hall) 1801, M.A. 1807, and D.D> 1839.  From 1848 he was an honorary canon of Worcester, and from 1860, rector of Beddington in Surrey, where he died 24 Aug 1864.  He was a well-known divine of the evangelical school, and was surnamed ‘ Millenial Marsh ‘ from the constant subject of his sermons.  His widow died without issue 24 Aug 1864, in her 90th year, at Beddington, where she was buried with a monument.”

Now to see how much of that can be verified.
