TFPL, Sept 2011: Interestingly the National Burial Index has a Caroline Powys buried on 14 May 1887 at Titchmarsh, aged 74, giving a birth year of c. 1807. This is nearer to RCLPL’s info of her namesake, another CP. So she should be in the 1871 and 1881 censuses.
And indeed she was in the 1871 census with her sister Eleanor and two servants:
