Notes for Francis Baldwyn
The Shrews Archives have Page 1 of abstract of will 1726 of Edward Baldwyn, a Shrewsbury mercer, enclosing pedigree showing the descent of his estate to his great-nephew Thomas Jelf Powys [of Berwick House; testator descended from a brother of William Baldwyn of Elsich].
Another entry is for the full will:

______________________
It looks like Edward was the son of Francis and dsp. If he had a brother Henry who had sons, then Bridget could not have been his heir, save in the sense that she was a beneficiary of a will.

I wonder if these holdings received by Bridget enabled the purchase of Berwick?
