I can’t find her death on FreeBMD up to 1910.
In the 1841 census is was probably her that was listed as ‘Marian Powis age 27, born outside Mx’.
From Peter Hodge, we have it that Alfred Norman Powys was born to George and Maria Winifred, nee Shuttleworth, Powys in July 1847. The presumption is that George re-married in, say, 1846 and thus Mary Ann Powys died in or before 1846. If this is true, these are the Mar* Powys/Powis deaths from 1841 to 1846:

The naming inclines me to either the Stroud or the Wolverhampton deaths but both were some way from London where she was definitely living in 1841.
