In 1881 at 19 Addison Gardens, Kensington, London with his wife dau, grandson and two servants.
Dec 2007, TFPL: Alan Jackson’s Brockman site (www.brockman.net.au) gives his ancestry for many generations and gives his birth on 4th April 1808 at The New Rectory, Cheriton, Kent, christened on 24th May 1808 at St Martin’s church, Cheriton and died on 20th Nov 1884 in Kensington. He reports that his real name was Drake-Brockman as his paternal grandparents were a Rev Ralph Drake and Caroline Brockman who was the youngest co-heir of eight daughters, only two of whom married and Caroline seems to have been the only one with children.
