Will notes for Elizabeth Tylney Countess of Surrey
In her two wills, with dates in 1472, she lists:
(1) As widow to Humphrey:
Frederick Tylney, her father to whom she was sole heir,
Philip Tylney her father's father, to whom he was heir,
Sir Humphrey Bourgchier her late husband,
Sir John Bourchier, Lord Berners to whom Humphrey was son and heir,
Margaret her daughter [by Humphrey],
Anne her daughter [by Humphrey],
(2) Additionally, as new wife to Thomas Howard:
Thomas Howard her husband,
Sir John lord Howard, to whom Thomas H. was son and heir,
Her son John Bourgchier.
Nicolas managed to include a third will of 1506 but this was that of the next (or previous?) duchess!
