Twisden: m. (1) Thos Hale, s. of Sir Mathew Hale, LCJ, (2) Francis Twisden.
Oxon Visitation has her as "Rebecca Lebrun granddau of Philip Lemon of Thames Ditton", quoting the marriage licence faculties.
Nov 2005: London 1634 visitation has her ad dau. of Philip Lemon and Isabell whose parents were William Lemman and Alice Bourne. Looks good and thanks to Caspar Verney for spotting this.
However this makes her alive in 1633 when the visitation was done. So she would have been at least 44 when she married Ftancis Twisden. Something fishy here!
Her birth date of c. 1655, according to J R Twisden came from her harriage certificate which said she was 22.
