Notes for Helen Lybbe
Rose Ashton, her great-great-niece, has some letters of Helen's and a photograph.
In the 1901 census she was living with her mother and her sister Amy at 5 Charles St, St James, London, aged 36, born, merely, in London.
In the 1911 census she was living at The Den, Dyke Road Avenue, Hove with her mother and her sister Amy.
TFPL 2002: I cannot find her birth anywhere in the records, neither under Worth, nor Lybbe, nor Powys. I suspect that she and her sisters were not registered.
TFPL, Dec 2009: I still cannot find the daughters’ births, not even on Ancestry’s new index of many of the London baptisms up to 1906.
TFPL: March 2016: Her birth date is on the 1939 Register, at 31 May 1872!

From her probate entry she had been living at The Cottage, Withdean Road, Brighton, Sussex. Her eldeest sister Amy had died there in 1922.

On 5 May 1953, a notice was put in the London Gazette giving her death date and address and asking for claimants to her estate.
In the 1901 census she was living with her mother and her sister Amy at 5 Charles St, St James, London, aged 36, born, merely, in London.
In the 1911 census she was living at The Den, Dyke Road Avenue, Hove with her mother and her sister Amy.
