Mary's existence was only known from her burial with the surname of Powys-Lybbe in the Beechwood Cemetary, Carleton, Ottawa. My guess is that she married Dick P-L but Canadian records are difficult to get hold of within 100 years of a marriage. The only other pointer is that Alex Greenwood said that a relative of his had married Richard P-L and this may refer to Mary.
Even more interesting, did she and Dick have some children?

9th Jan 2005: Aileen Grant has found from a newspaper obituary for RBP-L that her surname was Baird. It looks like they had no children.

Aug 2008, TFPL: Jane Nantais has found, on FindMyPast, an embarkation list from Liverpool for September 1922 which includes a Mary Powys Lybbe of 2 Lylesland Terrace, Paisley [Scotland] She gave her age as 38, giving a birth date of c. 1884. I wonder if this could be Mary Baaid? I can find no record of any marriage in Scotland or England of any Mary to a Powys Lybbe for any sensible date prior to 1922.
A day later, Jane solved the mystery by finding the marriage between Richard and Mary Baird on 22 Nov 1921. So this ship’s record in Sept 1922 was from her journey back to Scotland and returning to her husband on this ship. See their marriage Notes for fuller details.
