Oct 2010, TFPL: However both the 1566, '74 & 1634 and the 1669 and 1675 Oxon Visitations are quite categoric that he did, But neither shows William to have been rector of Shabington, rather he is down as the heir of Draycott.
Lipscombe’s Bucks seems to be the cause of the confusion as this is where William son of George is shown to be rector of Shabington, vol I, p. 451. I have yet to work out where this William actually came from.
