SP states that he is "said to have been son, of his descendants nothing is certainly known".

TFPL, May 2006: There is a line in the Coltness Connections but it is inadequately documented and the number of generations is too few compared with all other lines from the Stewarts to common ancestors.  So I have cut the link as the end of the Daldowie line, though leaving in these Coltness Stewarts for anyone to examine at their leisure.

TFPL, Feb 2007: Further the Coltness collections suggests that he was born c. 1360 and died in 1400; since his mother died in 1304, both of these sound highly unlikely and have been deleted here.  His credibility is going further down the tube...
