The 1532 visitation of Berks has an Anne, dau & heir of a Sir John Langford of Bradfield who m. Wm Stafford, also of Bradford. Sir John’s arms were A paly of argent and or, a lion statant or on a chief B.

April 2007, TFPL: Henry Sutcliff has now given the following outline references: VBC Berks, VCH Hants, VCH Gerts, VCH Surrey and HOP. So I’ve gone for this revised account of the first three generations.
He also reports that Edward had a son Thomas who dsp. 1493 and a second dau. Alice m. John Dauntsey of Dauntsey.
