There are reports that he and Eschyna also had a daughter Christina who m. (1) William de Brus and (2) Patrick of Dunbar. Certainly CP recognises, Vol IV, p. 505, that a Christine was successively the wife of these two chappies, but the evidence that she was dau. of Walter FitzAlan is lacking. However there is apparently an article in The Genealogist by Andrew B W MacEwen in Autumn 2003, Vol 17, No 2, pp. 223-233 - thanks to John Ravilious for this info - and which I have yet to see and which identifies Christine as Walter's daughter.
