The 1569 Herefords visitation, p. 81, shows her to be dau and heir of Roger de Bodenham, living 22 H 3. Roger was son of Hugh who was son of another Hugh. Petronella is described there as ‘Domina of Bodenham’ indicating that she had inherited the family caput.
